Members of chambers recognised by Chambers and Partners UK Bar 2023

We are delighted to have received both set and individual rankings in the 2023 Chambers & Partners UK Bar.

As a set, we have received a Band 3 ranking in Crime. Chambers and Partners notes “KCH Garden Square is a well-regarded set” and  “Areas of strength for the team include serious criminal matters such as manslaughter, murder, sexual offences and serious violence.

A number of members also received individual rankings along with comments including:

Social Housing

Tom Russell – Ranked Band 2
Tom is a good advocate on housing cases. He is well prepared and persuasive.”

Oliver Nunn – Ranked Band 2
Oliver is a strong junior in housing and across civil litigation. He is very knowledgeable in these areas, in particular social housing and commercial matters.

Family: Children

Moira Ashton Walsh – Ranked Band 3
Moira can be very tenacious and persuasive to achieve the desired results.”

Zoe Henry – Ranked Band 3
Zoe is a rising star of the local Bar, who still manages to be grounded, approachable and always constructive in her approach.

Head of Chambers, Jeremy Janes, commented “I was delighted to see the talents and commitment to their work of Moira, Zoe, Tom and Oliver reflected in their inclusion in the latest edition of Chambers and Partners. They demonstrate the strength in depth within the Family and Civil team, supported by the excellent clerking team, and I look forward to seeing further members being included in future editions. I was equally delighted to see the strengths of the Criminal Team being recognised. There have been numerous pressures in recent times upon the team and that recognition is a testament to the commitment and skill of each and every member and of the clerking team. Our Chambers continues to provide a first-class service across each of its disciplines and I am confident Chambers’ reputation will continue to increase as we move into the next stage of our history.
