Welcome to KCH Barristers

We are a leading common law set in the East Midlands and pride ourselves on providing a professional and caring service to all our professional and lay clients.

We have three teams of barristers; the Criminal Team is led by Neil Sands, Ruth Richards leads our Family Team and Edward Webb heads up our Civil Team. We are currently developing and will shortly launch a specialist Regulatory Team.

Phil Bradley KC joined our criminal team in July 2026. Since taking silk in 2017, Phil has prosecuted and defended numerous homicides and has an outstanding reputation.

We also have excellent door tenants including David Nathan KC and Sally Howes KC.

Chambers has recently teamed up with Clerked, an innovative platform that allows solicitors to search our members live availability in order to instruct them.

We are also proud of our team of staff. Our clerks and admin team offer a professional, responsive and efficient service to our clients.

Operating from offices in Nottingham and Leicester where we provide full services for conferences and mediation.

Whilst our barristers predominately practice in court centres in Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln and Derby, we also appear in courts across the country, please contact our clerks about work in your court centre.
