This weekend our Edward Webb (civil) and Neil Sands (Criminal) cycled from Clapham Common in London to Brighton. The ride consists of 55 miles, starting on relatively flat terrain in London before the climbs start. It includes the infamous Ditchling Beacon hill climb, a 1 mile climb with a 9% average gradient before a long decent into Brighton. Thankfully the weather held out nicely for the ride and both riders made it to the finish line. Congratulations to them both.
