We are delighted to announce that Katie Fothergill is now a member of the England Rugby RFU Disciplinary Panel.
Katie began her career at the Criminal Bar in London and joined KCH from Goldsmith Chambers, Temple. With a broad practice, Katie is predominantly instructed in criminal defence and sports law but also has experience of Courts Martial, regulatory, licensing and local authority work.
Katie has represented defendants in a wide variety of criminal cases as well as sports governing bodies and individuals in sports disciplinary work such as the RFU and the ASA. She currently sits as a member of the LRU (Leicestershire Rugby Union) disciplinary panel and the England Netball Disciplinary panel.
Alongside her work as a barrister, Katie’s involvement in and passion for sport continues with the children’s sports magazine, bsporty, of which she is the Founder and CEO and recently shortlisted for the Great British Businesswoman ‘Changemaker in Sport’ award 2023.
