Summary

Caroline joined KCH Garden Square in 1987, after qualifying for the Bar with a Law Degree from Wolverhampton. Being a Grade 4 Prosecutor she is highly regarded for her tenacity as an advocate – prosecuting or defending – and has been praised in the Chambers Guide as one of the circuits leading practitioners.

Developing a strong practice in all aspects of criminal law, Caroline specialises in the defence and prosecution of serious offences, particularly in the area of sexual offences where she’s highly respected. She possesses extensive experience of video link cases involving young and vulnerable witnesses, and lectures on the subject to other barristers.

Caroline is a member of the Criminal Bar Association and receives striking praise in the Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession 2007, being described as “accessible” and “brilliant”.

Caroline has been published in the Archbold Review: ‘Baby Shaking’ co-authored with Alastair Munt (2009)

Caroline also co-authored a publication with Alastair Munt, ‘The Disclosure Referencer’ (2012).
