Kinza has been instructed in both private and social housing possession claims. She has successfully secured possession, as well as negotiated favourable settlements for her clients. Kinza is regularly instructed to provide written advice, draft pleadings, and provide representation at trial. She is adept at dealing with technical Equality Act 2010 defences.

Instructions are frequently received for Kinza by local authorities and housing associations to obtain anti-social behaviour injunctions, committals, and closure orders pursuant to the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

Kinza also has experience in appellant work, both in respect of drafting statements of case and providing representation in homelessness appeals.

Kinza provides advice and representation in commercial law, largely involving disputes regarding contract for the sale of goods and/or service, as well as partnership disputes. She is available for instructions for advice, pleadings and representation at hearings and trials.

Kinza also accepts instructions to advise, represent and settle pleadings on a wide range of equine-related disputes.

Kinza is developing a strong practice within matrimonial finance. She is available to advise and represent clients in all areas of financial remedy work, including disputes between cohabitants, division of matrimonial assets on divorce and ongoing financial arrangements.

I would also like to say that Kinza assisted BBC to get a great result at the recent homeless appeal. She faced some tough questions by the opposing barrister and the Judge but she was very calm, collected and eloquently put the Council’s position forward. Kinza joined Chambers after successfully completing her Civil and Family Finance pupillage under the supervision of Oliver Nunn and Tom Russell. During which she received positive feedback from both professional clients and members of the local judiciary.
