I applied through an amazing charity called advocate for a volunteer barrister to defend me at a hearing. My hearing was on a Friday and the Thursday night, less than 24 hours before my hearing, Kinza kindly volunteered to help me. She called me around 5pm on the Thursday to say she would take on my case. Kinza had been at court all day on the Thursday and called me after and spoke with me for around 45 mins and then spent her Thursday evening outside of office hours preparing for my case. What an absolute superwoman! The fact she had already been at court all day and then kindly gave up her evening to prepare for my case the following day astounded me. Kinza is clearly very passionate about her job and has a heart of gold to spend her free evening helping out a person in need of representation at such late notice. Kinza met me at the court 9am the following day. She was prompt, well spoken, well prepared and so lovely and friendly. Kinza put me at ease and made me feel 100% supported. I felt so much better for having Kinza by my side. Kinza knew the ropes, she talked me through everything and prepared me for what was ahead that day. Kinza was well known by the judge and a fellow solicitor there who both spoke very highly of her, a true representation of her character. An absolute power house of a young lady, she remained poised, calm and collected at all times. Kinza is insanely educated and stayed humble at all times. Kinza was very professional and I can’t recommend her enough!”

Advocate Client, 2024

I would also like to say that Kinza assisted BBC to get a great result at the recent homeless appeal. She faced some tough questions by the opposing barrister and the Judge but she was very calm, collected and eloquently put the Council’s position forward. We look forward to working with Kinza again in the future.

Kinza joined Chambers after successfully completing her Civil and Family Finance pupillage under the supervision of Oliver Nunn and Tom Russell. During which she received positive feedback from both professional clients and members of the local judiciary.

Throughout her studies, Kinza participated in several pro bono projects, working with Birmingham Law School FLAG, ULaw Legal Advice Centre and Support Through Court. She has provided pro bono representation in the First Tier Tribunal, as well as written advice in contractual and family law disputes.
