Katie graduated with a First Class Honours degree in English Law and French Law from the University of Exeter. She went on to study the Barristers’ Training Course at Nottingham Law School and was called to the Bar in 2023 at The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.

 Prior to pupillage, Katie worked as a paralegal for a local firm of solicitors specialising in criminal defence. She litigated a wide range of Crown Court cases, including cases involving drugs, sexual offences, serious violence and a murder.

Katie began her criminal pupillage in January 2024 under the supervision of Jonathon Dee.
