Emma is a member of the Honourable Society of Grays Inn and was called to the Bar in October 2021. Emma studied Law at Nottingham Trent University and achieved a Distinction on the BPTC LLM at The University of Law.

Emma has previously worked as a teacher of both mathematics and law in local schools. During her degree Emma volunteered as an adviser at the Citizens Advice Bureau and the University of Law’s Legal Advice Centre, supporting people in times of crisis across a wide range of legal issues including housing matters, debt and family law. Emma also volunteered as a tribunal advocate, advocating on behalf of clients in appeal hearings.

Emma began her civil and family finance pupillage in September 2023 under the supervision of Tom Russell and Oliver Nunn.
