Jasmin is a member of the Civil and Family Team at KCH Garden Square. She successfully completed her pupillage under the supervision of Deputy District Judge Carter.
Jasmin has an expanding family law practice with a focus on private law proceedings, injunctions and financial remedies. To date, Jasmin has also developed a broad civil law practice and has a particular interest in personal injury law.
Prior to undertaking pupillage, Jasmin worked as a serious injury paralegal at the largest ‘full service’ law firm in the UK. She handled and assisted on multi track cases of the utmost severity, concerning brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopaedic injuries and pain conditions, namely Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. The vast majority of cases reached a six-figure settlement sum. She also managed claims against the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) under the CICA Scheme 2012.
Jasmin studied Law at The University of Manchester and graduated with First-Class Honours, scoring in the top 10% of her academic year group. Jasmin completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at Manchester Metropolitan University and was awarded a BPTC Scholarship based on her achievements, interests and experience. She was called to the Bar in 2014 by The Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn.

She has appeared on behalf of claimants and defendants at interim applications, assessment of damages hearings, case management hearings and at trial, in cases allocated to the small claims track and fast track. She has also assisted on an appeal to the High Court at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Jasmin is experienced in representing clients who require the assistance of an interpreter and those who are vulnerable, due to mental ill-health or issues arising from their previous and current experiences. She has been praised by several of her lay clients for her composed manner at court and considers that her personable, yet professional approach is well-suited to vulnerable clients.
