Andrew has extensive experience of all aspects of property disputes and many of his cases involve Cohabitee disputes and other Trusts of Land applications (He is sometimes described as a divorce lawyer for unmarried couples). Andrew is also often instructed in matters involving disputes over Wills and Probate – including Inheritance Act claims.

Many of Andrew’s cases feature unusual points of law which require investigation, as his attention to detail is second to none.

K v H and M

This case was typical of many Inheritance Act cases. The deceased left some of her property to her children by her first marriage. Her second husband, who survived her, claimed this property. Mr

Beaumont settled the pleadings and advised throughout. The case was settled in accordance with Mr Beaumont’s advice.

S Ltd v M S

In this case Mr Beaumont obtained an urgent ‘without notice injunction’ on behalf of a Public Access client following allegations of passing off and breach of a confidentiality agreement.
