After pursuing other interests Paul undertook pupillage with Andrew Mitchell QC, leading to a tenancy in London. For some years Paul pursued a varied practice in crime and related areas in London and the Midlands.


Paul has been instructed in a number of high profile cases, and has been involved in many lengthy serious trials, both prosecuting and defending. Experienced across a very broad range of criminal offences, both prosecuting and defending. Paul is also a member of the VHCC advocacy panel.
