Lisa Hardy appointed to the British Canoeing Disciplinary, Dispute & Appeal Panel

Congratulations to Lisa Hardy who has appointed to the Disciplinary, Dispute and Appeal Panel for British Canoeing.

British Canoeing is the national governing body for paddlesports in the UK. It is responsible for leading and setting the overall framework for all of the National Associations and includes areas such as coaching, competition and representing canoeing interests at a UK Level.

Lisa said “As a member of the panel, I will be called on to assist in the application of British Canoeing regulations, codes and policies when hearing any disciplinary or appeal panel including being designated as Chair of the Panel on occasion. In particular, there are appeals involving the World Class Programme Qualification appeals procedure, competition selections appeals procedures and safeguarding appeals procedure as well as athlete disciplinary matters.

I look forward to bringing my experience and perspective to the team, on helping to build on the inclusivity that British Canoeing strives towards achieving whilst remaining impartial and objective and fair to all persons participating in the appeals process.
