Equality and Diversity Questionnaire
To assist us with our commitment to diversity monitoring, we would be grateful if you would complete the following questionnaire. It is not part of the application form and is not compulsory. Any information provided or whether it has been completed will not be passed to any person involved in the selection process and has no impact on your application.
The information requested covers those areas encompassed within the Bar Standards Board’s Equality Rules and Guidance. You are not obliged to answer all or any of the questions but in providing this information you will help us to ensure that our recruitment process remains fair and objective for all.
If you choose to provide information it will be treated in confidence. By providing the information, you consent to the use and publication of anonymised statistics for the purposes of equality and diversity monitoring of our recruitment processes.
KCH Garden Square values the diversity of backgrounds, skills and experiences of individuals and this monitoring process assists Chambers in its policy of recruiting, developing and retaining the most talented individuals.
After the selection process for mini pupillage placements is complete, the Equality & Diversity Officer is supplied with a report based on anonymised statistics. Any monitoring information that has been received will then be securely destroyed in line with our Data Retention and Disposal Policy.
