Every December, Chambers makes a donation to a local charity instead of sending Christmas cards. This year donations are more important than ever, with many charities experiencing both increased demand for their services as well as a loss of funds due the pandemic.
This year we have donated to Framework, who deliver housing, health, employment, support and care services to people with a diverse range of needs across the East Midlands. With an increased number of people needing our support due to the economic impact of the pandemic, funds raised through their winter appeal, Homeless to Home, will go towards helping prevent people from becoming homeless, support those who are sleeping rough and help resettle former rough sleepers in their own accommodation with all necessary support.
Each year, Framework supports more than 18,000 people a year, regardless of their past, across the Midlands and the North of England, providing a network of interlinking services that have the potential to change and even save people’s lives.
