Chambers is delighted of the Courts and Tribunals Judiciary announcement this morning that The Queen has appointed Mr Mark van der Zwart to be a Circuit Judge.
Mark has been a member of Chambers for over 30 years and during his time at KCH Garden Square has served as Head of Chambers, a member of the Board of Directors and a circuit representative to the Criminal Bar Association.
Mark will be greatly missed by Chambers but we wish him the very best for his future judicial career.
Mark will be known as His Honour Judge van der Zwart and has been deployed by The Lord Chief Justice to the South Eastern Circuit, to be based at Lewes Crown Court with effect from 11 March 2019.
