Michele MacLeod has recently given a talk on coercive control to a local firm of solicitors.
Kathryn McTaggart, a family law & divorce solcitor at Woolley & Co said following the event “Family lawyers have some knowledge of coercive control but Michele was able to give a real insight into the patterns of behaviour, what to look for and the questions to ask. It was helpful to understand the overlap with the criminal offence and to have practical guidance about the impact coercive control allegations can have in children cases and a strategy for dealing with evidence and fact finding.”
Future coercive control talks are planned, keep an eye on our Seminars & Events page for further information.
