Prior to joining KCH Garden Square, Thomas successfully completed a wide ranging civil pupillage at Ropewalk Chambers in Nottingham. He then went on to practise at New Walk Chambers in Leicester, specialising in Civil and Family Law.
Thomas has an expanding Immigration Law Practice with experience representing clients facing deportation, those claiming asylum and a wide range of Tier 1 and Tier 5 application appeals.
Thomas has successfully represented a number of clients at the Upper Tier Tribunal throughout the UK. This has included clients who have instructed Thomas on a Direct Access Basis.
Thomas accepts instructions in all areas of civil litigation including personal injury, credit hire, landlord and tenant, disability, discrimination, contract and insolvency matters. He has extensive experience in fast track trials, Stage 3 MOJ hearings, Assessment of Damages hearings, Case Management Conferences and Small Claims hearings.
Thomas has a growing family practice. He accepts instructions in both private and public law matters.
Thomas regularly appears for clients on a pro-bono basis referred through charities which work across the East Midlands on a range of family and immigration matters.
Thomas is Direct Access accredited and able to accept instructions directly from his clients on a public access basis.
